Vote by Mail

Keep in mind that VBM (sometimes called the absentee ballot) does not mean you have to be out of town. This is simply a convenient way of voting. The new Florida State Law: (§101.62) provides that a VBM ballot request is effective for all elections from the initial request through the following two general elections. If you make your request this year it will be good through the November 2010 election. After the request expires the Supervisor of Elections will send a renewal reminder to you.

We highly recommend that you take advantage of this wonderful way of receiving ballots for ALL elections in your precinct. Many elections are often missed by voters due to bad weather, last minute emergencies or being unaware of an election. You will also find that this is a very convenient way of voting (no lines, no rush, no hassle...you don't even have to leave your home). You will receive your ballot to return, or take it to a polling place and vote electronically during early voting. We also recommend that you choose "All Elections" so that you can be informed any time there is a vote on any issue.

If you would like to take advantage of Vote By Mail, a request form to participate in VBM can be downloaded from this web site. Simply print it, fill out the form and mail it to:
